Raised Bed Vegetable Gardening

March 4, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm CST

This free class is your introduction to growing your own veg in the easiest way to begin.

Make gardening easier and more space efficient!

Raised beds can be the solution to your growing challenges. Poor performance in the past? With our tough clay soils that are hard and stay too wet, a raised bed is the way to grow. Learn how easy it is to get that perfect space set aside to plant– with perfect drainage and the right soil mix for what you want to plant. Garden Advisor Brieux Turner is your guide to learning to effectively use this growing technique to maximize your own, organically grown produce at home. Our class includes soil advice, with handouts of soil recipe and product recommendations to get you started, plus help in choosing vegetable varieties to plant, whether by seed or transplant, and when to start each. If you’ve only tried growing in the ground or are just limited on space, raised beds can offer many advantages. Find out how easy it is to get started growing. FREE.

BE PREPARED. Download our Vegetable Project List and Planting Dates handouts before the class so you can start vegging out now: Vegetable Planting Dates Handout / Vegetable Gardening Project List Handout
