Tomatoes! Every year, the tomato tops everyone’s list for the most popular plant for the vegetable garden. In our area we can grow two crops, with one in summer and one in fall. It’s time to get the earlier plants in the ground, and this free class willshow you the absolute basics of where to start. NHG’s Rusty E. Allen is your guide. We’ll define terms and how to pick the right plant for you, as well as the best soil mixes to use, easy maintenance tips, and more. If you’ve never tried growing tomatoes because you’re just too scared to, this class will give you the confidence to get planting! FREE.
