Amandita Johnson, CSA is here to serve the aging person who is in need of:

My service is FREE and I will discuss and help solve yours or your loved one’s care needs, physically tour with you to the options based on assessed needs, level of care and affordability. I will present options for in-home care or data of the safest places, so you can make an informed decision. My promise to you is I will help you navigate this challenging journey and will be there from beginning to end.

My background and credentials:

• Nearly 17 years in health care insurance with a strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape such as levels of care, affordability of care, health benefits, claims, healthcare fraud, medical data/quality measures and customer service
• Few years in academia

Education:

• Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)
• MBA and Certified ROI Professional (CRP)
• Doctor of Health Sciences (Health Care Delivery) degree candidate with a research focus in social determinants of health (SDoH), vulnerable populations, aging and longevity

What else?
I have gone through the same daunting experience of arranging for a senior loved one who was terminally ill. I was a veteran spouse for 16 years before my husband retired from the Air Force. What does this mean to you? I understand the needs of veterans and their spouses. I understand CHANGE.

I've experienced what it is to be alone and being away from loved ones. I have met people from many diverse backgrounds. Moving to 10 different homes in 3 countries enhanced my cultural awareness. Change can be challenging but necessary. When your family member is moved, they need your patience and understanding and if they're able to decide, you will need their buy in for the change.
