With over two thousand flickering candles illuminating the performers – The Vienna Light Orchestra’s world class musicians, from 7 different countries — will be paying tribute to the powerful music of THE GREATEST SHOWMAN and SO MUCH more. 

The powerful music from the cinema sensation — THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, and some of the worlds most beloved classics like, O Mio Bambino, Adagio for Strings, Danny Boy and Somewhere, this is an evening at the Theatre you and your family will not soon forget.  Whether you’re looking for a beautiful and unique event, or an evening with the mesmerizing music of “The Greatest Showman” bathed in over 2,000 candles, this show is for you. 

The original cinematic musical released in 2017 is based on the story and life of P.T. Barnum who was a famous Showman and entertainer.  The unforgettable music centers around his creation of the Barnum & Bailey Circus and of course—the lives of its star attractions. 

The Vienna Light Orchestra’s awe inspiring performance with singers and world class orchestral soloists is a positive interruption from the noise of the world — while elevating audiences into an atmosphere of inspirational, motivational music.  In the same way Barnum and those in the circus stayed focused and embraced who they were—they disregarded the negativity around them through the magical message of —“all things being possible to those who believe.”

Held in specially selected venues in comfortable idyllic settings so you can escape with inspirational music in a relaxed but awe inspiring atmosphere bathed by the flicker of over two thousand candlelights. Prepare to soar into the clouds! This concert series is coming to the Byrd Theatre, a venue of purpose and elegance located in the heart of Downtown Richmond, VA.

VLO features world-class orchestral musicians and singers from seven different countries and takes its name from what is often heralded as the “capital of orchestral music.” You don’t have to know everything about the genre of orchestral music to discover the joys of immersing yourself in the dramatic symphonic sounds of The Vienna Light Orchestra!

The year is shaping up to be one of the most successful years for The Vienna Light Orchestra.  They’ve visited Europe, the Baltics, and South America during the last three years and that was just the beginning!  The Vienna Light Orchestra players believe that music connects the world through ONELOVE, ONEHEART and ONESOUL—all bound together by the JOY of MUSIC.

An usher will receive you upon arrival and in-between songs will help you find your seat.

What does my ticket include?

You will be given a wristband for your Ticketed Zone and an usher will help you find the best available seat within your Zone.

Do I need to print my ticket?

All tickets are sold via Eventbrite.com – Please bring a print out of your ticket, have the ticket saved to your phone or access the Eventbrite app on your mobile device.

What is the photo or video policy during the performance?

Video & Photo are allowed. No flash photography or video. Please turn down the brightness of your phone when in use.

There is no dress code for attendees. The Vienna Light Orchestra will be performing in costume and evening wear.
