The method of cooking schnitzel goes back to the 1st Century BC. Schnitzel became very popular in the Middle Ages, finding a following throughout modern day Austria and Germany to Italy. The first record of Spaetzle wasn’t until 1725. This Germanic version of mac n’ cheese is made differently from most pasta noodles as it is scraped rather than rolled or extruded.
In this class you will make:
Pork Schnitzel
Spaetzle
Blaukraut
Wine will be served to guests 21 and over. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided.
