Saturday Afternoon Tarts!

Frangipane is a sweet almond-flavored custard used in a variety of cakes and pastries. Named after the 16th Century Italian nobleman Marquis Muzio Frangipani who invented the fragrance to perfume his gloves! French pastry chefs fell in love with the aroma and Frangipane is now a classic part of Parisian pastries.

In this class you will learn how to make a delicate Poached Pear and Frangipane tart.

Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

About the Location

This class will be held at our teaching kitchen located at 1484 South State Street in Salt Lake City. Included with your class are recipes, ingredients, and tools required. Closed toe shoes and appropriate attire is required for the class. There is no minimum experience required.

Street parking is available.
